In 2024, Endeavor Greece’s Greeking Out series continued to grow, bringing together hundreds of entrepreneurs, investors, and members of the Greek diaspora across major global tech hubs. From London and San Francisco to New York, the events offered a platform for founders to share their stories, investors to reflect on emerging opportunities, and global Greeks to connect over a shared belief in the country’s rising innovation potential.

Greeking Out in London
Greeking Out in London, co-hosted with Genesis Ventures, gathered more than 250 members of the local Greek and European tech ecosystem. The evening spotlighted early-stage and high-growth founders, venture capitalists, and ecosystem builders shaping the next wave of innovation.
The agenda featured a discussion between Antonis Malaxianakis, Founder of Harbor Lab, Thomas Douzis, Founder of ERGON, Nikhil Arora, CEO at Epignosis, and Ben Blume, Partner at Atomico. Together, they offered a behind-the-scenes look at founder–investor dynamics, shared insights into the key qualities investors seek at different stages of growth, and reflected on the challenges and lessons learned from early-stage to scale-up journeys across various industries.

Other prominent voices from across the ecosystem—Yannis Tsaousis, Maria Dramalioti-Taylor, Sadia Nowshin, Akis Bratsos, Mike Stevenson, Stergios Anastasiadis, Antigoni Lymperopoulou, Dimitris Maroulis, Ioannis Kasinopoulos, Carolina Bell, Alexander Xydas, Natasha Takhar, and Panagiotis Karampinis—shared their perspectives on founder resilience, investor selection criteria, and Greece’s role in shaping Europe’s next generation of tech.
A dedicated session on the forthcoming Greek Tech Visa, presented in collaboration with Tech Nation and moderated by Sifted, opened a timely discussion on enabling cross-border collaboration and mobility for entrepreneurs.

Greeking out in San Francisco
In partnership with Big Pi Ventures, Greeking Out in San Francisco brought together more than 200 founders, investors, and diaspora leaders for a focused conversation on Greece’s trajectory as a global tech hub.
The event featured a series of dynamic panels that explored the country’s growing AI investment landscape, the expansion of R&D centers across Greece, and the increasing strength of its engineering talent. Participants also examined how diaspora networks can serve as a powerful extension of Greece’s innovation ecosystem, helping to scale promising ventures across borders.

Conversations were led by Socrates Sourvinos, Consul General of Greece in San Francisco, Dean Kamen of DEKA & FIRST, Pavlina Yanakieva of the Bulgaria Innovation Hub, Alexis Xavier Rivas of Cover, Andreas Raptopoulos of Matternet, and Tasso Roumeliotis of Numa. These were complemented by insights from investors and institutional leaders including Nick Kalliagkopoulos of Big Pi Ventures, Sarah Hinkfuss of Bain Capital Ventures, Konstantine Buhler of Sequoia Capital, James Christopoulos of CVC Capital Partners, Panagiotis Karampinis of Endeavor Greece, Yorgos Koutsoyannopoulos of Ansys, and Kostas Mallios of Applied Materials.
Together, they painted a compelling picture of the Greek tech sector’s evolution—and its growing importance on the global stage.

Greeking Out in New York

Hosted in collaboration with GreekTech.org, the third edition of Greeking Out in New York convened more than 220 attendees for an evening centered on the future of entrepreneurship and the role of the diaspora in enabling global growth.
The event began with a fireside chat between Eleni Kounalakis, Lieutenant Governor of California and former U.S. Ambassador to Hungary, and Costantza Sbokou Constantakopoulou, Chairwoman at Endeavor Greece. Their conversation explored the intersection of diaspora leadership, civic engagement, and the global reputation of Greek innovation—highlighting the importance of cultural identity, collaboration, and long-term vision.
The panel “The World in 2025,” featured Anastasis Germanidis of Runway, Georgia Gaveras of Talkiatry, Haris Pylarinos of Hack The Box, and Thomas Douzis of ERGON. Their conversation explored the intersection of innovation, impact, and opportunity, as seen through the lens of AI, mental health, cybersecurity, and food retail.
This was followed by a ScaleUp panel with Bill Gianoukos of Goodpath, Dafni Bechtsi of Cinobo, and Panos Adamopoulos of Seismos, who shared their strategies for navigating growth, building global teams, and maintaining momentum amid shifting market conditions.

The evening concluded with the final panel, “Navigating Challenges: Tech, Investment, and Entrepreneurship,” brought together Alexis Pantazis of Hellas Direct, Eleni Bathianaki of Halcyon Equity Partners, and Evan Kotsovinos of Google. The discussion focused on managing uncertainty, identifying opportunity, and building resilient companies in a fast-changing economic environment.
With support from Capital Link and The Hellenic Initiative, Greeking Out in New York delivered a powerful message about what’s possible when founders, funders, and the diaspora come together to shape the future of Greek entrepreneurship.

As Greece’s innovation ecosystem continues to evolve, Greeking Out remains a platform for meaningful conversations, global connections, and shared ambition. With each new city we visit, we build on this momentum—bringing together local communities, connecting the diaspora, and opening up new opportunities for Greek entrepreneurship around the world. More cities are on the horizon, and we look forward to continuing this journey in the months ahead.
