Nick Kalliagkopoulos is a partner at Big Pi Ventures, bringing over a decade of experience in venture capital and investment management. Before joining Big Pi, he spent eight years as a Partner at Prime Ventures in Amsterdam, where he played a key role in shaping the firm’s investment strategy across a diverse portfolio of tech companies. Nick also worked with the Randstad Innovation Fund, the corporate venture arm of the Randstad Group, focusing on early-stage investments in companies transforming the future of work.

Nick is armed with an MSc in Computer Engineering and Informatics from a leading Greek Technical University and an MSc in Finance and Investments (cum laude) from the Rotterdam School of Management, knowledge he brings into his roles. He started his career at Dutch Expansion Capital (DEC), a venture firm specializing in high-tech investments. At DEC, he managed multiple seed and early-stage investments and helped establish Startupbootcamp HighTechXL, a global accelerator for high-tech startups. His early experience laid the foundation for his focus on supporting startups and scaling technology-driven companies.
