Stergios Anastasiadis is a General Partner and Co-founder at Genesis Ventures, a pre-seed venture capital fund and accelerator, where he is helping make Greece a tech startup hub. He also serves as a Board Member for several companies, providing mentorship and supporting tech companies. He has over 30 years of Software Development experience in R&D including product and UX/UI, and experience with Big Data, Machine Learning, and Infrastructure. 

Previously, Stergios worked as Head of Engineering at ROSS Intelligence where he led Machine Learning and Application and Growth teams. He also worked as the Director of Engineering at Shopify, working on Applications, Merchant Marketing, Channels, and Retail platforms. He was also the Senior Engineering Manager at Google where he developed Google+ for different platforms. He has held other significant engineering roles, some including VP of Research and Development at PushLife Inc, Senior Vice President of Engineering at Good Technology, and Senior Director of Engineering at Odyssey Financial Technologies.    

He earned his MSc in Computer Science at McGill University and his BSC in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Toronto.
