Eleni Bathianaki is the Managing Partner of Halcyon Equity Partners, a growth private equity fund investing in mature Scale-up and Growth SMEs & Small Mid-Caps in Greece. Before this, she was a founding Partner at EOS Equity Partners, a Greek Private Equity Growth Fund with €150 million in assets under management, where she contributed as a member of the Investment Committee and the Board of the fund’s manager.

Eleni’s strong foundation in financial strategy began with her academic background, having earned a degree in Banking and International Finance from City University Business School in London, followed by an MSc in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics. This education equipped her to navigate complex financial landscapes and launch a successful career in investment banking and private equity.

Before her work in private equity, Eleni served as a Senior Manager in the Strategy and Transformation unit at Piraeus Bank Group, leading critical M&A and capital issuance transactions during a transformative period. She further honed her expertise in financial strategy at Morgan Stanley, advising on and executing M&A and capital market transactions for companies across Greece and the CEE region. Her career began at Citigroup’s Global Market Investment Banking Unit and worked on privatizations, M&A, and capital market deals across diverse sectors in Greece, CEE, and North Africa.
