Tasso was raised in Montreal by his Greek immigrant parents. He studied business at McGill University, began his career as the top associate in his class at Bain, received his MBA from HBS, and worked as VP of Claridge Investments (Bronfman Family Office). Subsequently, he founded a location-based mobile security company called Location Labs, built the organization to 200+ people, and sold it for $220M to the online security firm AVG. The company was profitable for seven consecutive years and was an INC 500 company. He was also an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist Award winner. Contemplating his next career move, he recruited his top team members from Location Labs to brainstorm about the top lessons learned from the business. NumberAI was born from the realization that the team’s knowledge of and relationship with large telecoms was an enormous opportunity to build something great.
