Paul Anton is the Co-founder and CEO of huupe and has blended his passion for basketball with a successful career in technology. Inspired by countless hours spent playing basketball with co-founders Lyth and Frankie, their virtual gaming on Snapchat sparked the idea for huupe. huupe, a Scale Up 7th Cohort member, is the world’s first smart basketball hoop, designed for installation anywhere and aimed at connecting basketball enthusiasts globally. It offers NBA-level workouts, live coaching, detailed performance tracking, and a vibrant social experience for players of all skill levels. 

With a Bachelor’s Degree from Boston College and a Juris Doctor from the University of San Francisco School of Law, Paul’s academic background provided him with the foundation to pursue his entrepreneurial ventures. Before founding huupe, Paul began his career as an intellectual property attorney in San Francisco. He later launched Atlas Media, an out-of-home advertising startup that was successfully acquired by one of the nation’s leading advertising companies. He also founded Real Shot, an augmented reality basketball gaming startup that gained recognition through Deutsche Telekom’s hub accelerator program.
