From Pixels to Plows: Ilias Cultivates a New Era for Farmers with Wikifarmer

Ilias is a dynamic entrepreneur and the Co-founder and CEO of Wikifarmer, a Scale Up Cohort 5 company whose groundbreaking platform is dedicated to empowering and educating farmers globally. Under his leadership, Wikifarmer has become a vital resource, connecting farmers with the open market to sell their products at fair prices while providing them with essential knowledge and tools.

His academic journey, which began with a BA in Economics from the Athens University of Economics and Business, provided the solid foundation for his business venture. Ilias later pursued an MBA from INSEAD, further honing his skills in strategic management and global business.

Before founding Wikifarmer, Ilias had a notable career at Google, where he spent 11 years shaping digital strategies and market development. He served as the Head of Domestic Market, Agencies, and YouTube for Greece, Cyprus, and Malta, and as Senior Business Development Manager for Southern Europe and Africa. Ilias’s entrepreneurial spirit extends beyond Wikifarmer; he previously launched a startup in the clothing industry and has been an active mentor for emerging tech ventures and innovation centers.
