Vlassis Georgatos is keeping the family business strong as the Chairman and Managing Director of Gregory’s, Greece’s largest snack and coffee chain and the 8th largest in Europe. Vlassis has been deeply involved in the family business from a young age: After graduating from the Athens University of Economics and Business in 1992, he took on administrative duties and immediately set his sights on expanding the company’s footprint. Vlassis made the strategic decision to expand Gregory’s through franchising—a move that has propelled the brand to new heights.

Gregory’s has grown into a powerhouse in the food and beverage industry, with over 300 stores across Greece and four additional countries. Vlassis’s ability to evolve the company in response to modern consumer needs has been key to Gregory’s ongoing success, making it a household name and a market leader in its category. With a focus on innovation and expansion, Gregory’s is breaking into international markets, with a significant milestone being the opening of its first store in Berlin in 2015, marking the beginning of the brand’s broader European ambitions.
