Thanasis Delistathis is the Managing Partner at PROOF, a VC investing strategic capital alongside select early-stage VC firms, to maximize upside in their best-performing companies. His academic background shaped his career in both business strategy and venture capital. He earned a BS in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University, followed by an MBA from Harvard Business School.

In 2004, he pioneered the concept of the first early-stage opportunity fund, a move that the Venture Capital Journal hailed as the beginning of a prominent co-investment trend. Before diving into venture capital, Thanasis spent three years devising corporate restructuring strategies and financial solutions for public subsidiaries that now form part of Thermo Fisher Scientific. For 17 years, he served as the Managing Partner and Co-founder at NAV, an early stage investor in fast-growing tech companies. Early in his career, he was a Business Analyst at McKinsey and Company where he was a Consultant to Fortune 500 Companies.
