Rania is the Head of Design for Citi's US Personal Banking Business Line, where she oversees a large team focused on strengthening Citi’s brand leadership and delivering exceptional client experiences.

Previously, Rania was the AI Executive Design Director at IBM where she led global experience design for IBM's AI platform. In her role, her vision was to bridge the gap between design, technology, and business. Additionally, Ranis served as the Executive Design Director at IBM iX, where she drove design revenue from $0 to $3 million, securing multi-million dollar contracts and cementing IBM’s position as a leader in design. 

Beyond her career, Rania also earned a BA in Graphic Design from Northumbria University and an MA in Interaction Design from London College of Communication. Her achievements have earned her a spot on Business Insider’s “Top 40 Rising Stars of Madison Ave” in 2020 and the Greek International Women Award in Design, presented by the President of the Hellenic Republic. A sought-after keynote and TEDx speaker, Rania is also a guest lecturer and mentor at top universities worldwide, dedicated to empowering women in design and technology.
