Phil Kafarakis is the President and CEO of the International Foodservice Manufacturers Association (IFMA), responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations and driving the association’s strategic goals. Prior to IFMA, he served as President of the Specialty Food Association (SFA), leading an organization representing over 3,400 companies in the U.S. specialty food industry.
Prior to his formative roles, Phil earned a BSBA in Business from Northern Arizona University and an IEMBA from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business. Earlier in his career, Phil held senior leadership positions at the National Restaurant Association, McCormick & Co., Cargill Meat Solutions, Aqua-Novus LLC, Jones Dairy Farm, Kraft Foods, and Oscar Mayer Foods, managing large-scale operations, sales, and marketing across the food industry. His experience spans commercial strategy, operational oversight, and team leadership in both domestic and international markets.
