Panayiotis Ioannou is the Enterprise Commercial Leader for South East Europe at Microsoft, responsible for strategy and execution of cloud solutions for the region’s largest customers across various industries. With over 20 years of experience in the technology sector, Panayiotis is known for his leadership in engineering, project management, and digital transformation. His guidance of diverse teams in commercial, public, and educational sectors has earned him multiple Circle of Excellence awards for outstanding performance and leadership at Microsoft.

Panayiotise holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Catholic University of America which provided him with the proper skills for his future career in technology. He joined Microsoft in 2006 as Partner Sales Lead for Cyprus and Malta, where he led channel engagement and partner strategy. In 2008, he became the Small and Midmarket Solutions and Partners (SMS&P) Lead, further advancing his role within the organization. Recently, he was appointed Country Manager for Microsoft Malta, where he now focuses on expanding Microsoft’s services and solutions portfolio, driving Malta’s digital transformation, and enhancing its global competitiveness.
