Panagiotis Georgalas is the Managing Director at VNK Capital, a private equity firm investing in local and global leader companies. Previously, he served as CFO and Board Member at Pharmathen, one of Greece’s largest pharmaceutical companies. During his tenure, he secured a landmark investment from the European Investment Bank—the first for a Greek company—and an investment from BC Partners, strengthening Pharmathen’s global market position.

His academic background, including an MBA from Henley Business School and a BS in Finance and Statistics from the University of Piraeus, prepared him for his future career. Panagiotis has gained over 20 years of experience in finance and has held CFO and COO roles at Olympia Development Group, where he managed investments exceeding €1 billion and oversaw financial operations across its portfolio. Earlier in his career, he was with Germanos Group, managing financial and administrative functions for subsidiaries in Greece and abroad and implementing SAP across the group.
