Niko Bonatsos is a Managing Director at General Catalyst, a global investment and transformation company that makes seed to growth stage investments and beyond. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Niko focuses on investing in first-time technology founders with strong product instincts, a willingness to learn, and a vision to create innovations with the potential to reach millions. 

Building an extensive educational foundation, Niko earned his Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, an M.Phil in Industrial Systems, Manufacture, and Management from the University of Cambridge, and an MS in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University, where he was a Fulbright Scholar.

Since joining General Catalyst, Niko has co-led and invested in companies including Snap (NYSE: SNAP), 6d.ai, Atrium, Audius, Cover, Hive, HubHaus, ClassDojo, Paribus (acquired by CapitalOne), and Wag!. His efforts have supported General Catalyst Partners in raising $15 billion across 11 funds, solidifying the firm’s national presence.
