Ioannis Antonellis is the Senior Vice President of Engineering at Tubi, a TV and movie streaming service in the US. He has extensive experience in building and managing teams that work on machine learning and data projects. He is also an Investor at InvestinData which is an angel collective composed of top data executives who invest in and mentor promising data startups. 

Ioannis’s academic background prepared him for his later roles. He earned a MSc and PhD in Computer Science at Stanford University. He also studied Business Administration and Management at University of California, Berkeley as well as earned his Diploma in Computer Engineering and Informatics at the University of Patras, Greece. 

Before Tubi, Ioannis worked as the Head of Data Science and Data Engineering on the AI Platform team for Meta. In this role, he led a team of data scientists, engineers, and researchers to build and scale the platform used by AI and Machine learning developers. Additionally, he was the Vice President at Upwork where he also led a team of data scientists and engineers in various machine learning projects.
