Giannis Delikanakis is the Founding Partner at Southrock Asset Management, an asset and investment management firm with a focus on real estate investments in Greece and in the CEE.
Giannis’s educational background laid the foundation for his successful career. He earned a Diploma in Civil Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, followed by an MSc in Project Management from the University of Texas at Austin. His expertise in real estate was further honed through advanced studies at Harvard University, where he focused on real estate development.
His early career in the U.S. included his role as Executive Vice Chairman at Technical Olympic USA Inc., one of the country's largest homebuilders, delivering over 7,000 single-family homes annually. In Greece, he led the €100 million acquisition and reposition of Porto Carras, Greece's largest resort, as General Manager.
Before founding Southrock, Giannis co-founded Bluehouse Capital in 2004, a private equity real estate firm managing around €500 million, focusing on property markets in Central and Southeastern Europe. He’s also a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and has a certificate as an Investment Services provider from the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC).
