A seasoned business leader with 25 years of experience in the financial services and real estate industries, Dimitris Raptis is the CEO of Globalworth Group, a pioneering real estate institutional investor, developer, and asset manager active in the CEE region. Together with the founder, he launched Globalworth in 2013 and grew it from a €53M Bucharest-focused real-estate office developer to a €3 billion LSE-listed real estate corporation – the largest office investor and landlord in the CEE region with more than 240 staff. Until 2020 he was the Group’s Deputy CEO and Chief Investment Officer with key responsibilities including new investments, M&A, capital raising, investor relations and reporting, marketing & PR, governance, risk and controls.
Before joining Globalworth in 2012, he spent 16 years in Deutsche Bank, most of them as a senior member of the real estate private equity team of Deutsche Bank’s Asset and Wealth Management division (RREEF Opportunistic Investments). From 2008 to 2012, he was Managing Director and European Head of Portfolio Management responsible for the division’s real estate private equity activities across Europe. During his tenure with RREEF he executed and managed real estate transactions across Europe worth over Euro 12 billion.
