Dr. Constantine Polychronopoulos is the Group VP of 5G and Telco Cloud at Juniper Networks, where he focuses on developing networking solutions that impact the future of telecommunications. His journey into entrepreneurship began as the founder and CTO of BYTEMOBILE Inc., where he upgraded network optimization, steering the company to become a global leader in the industry, ultimately leading to its successful acquisition in 2012.

Before his entrepreneurial ventures, Dr. Polychronopoulos held key functions in esteemed organizations, including VP and CTO at VMware, where he directed Telco and NFV Research and Development (R&D) efforts, and VP and CTO at Citrix, focusing on service provider platforms. He also served as a Distinguished Scientist at Kubota Pacific Computers and a Consulting Professor at SGI, enriching the academic community as a Professor at the University of Illinois.

A prolific innovator, he holds 10 patents and has authored over 169 research papers. Dr. Polychronopoulos earned his Bachelor of Science in Math and Computer Science from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, his Master’s from Vanderbilt University, and his PhD from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, reflecting a lifelong commitment to advancing technology and education.
