Alex Poulos serves as the Chief Marketing Officer at Crossbeam, the premier ecosystem-led growth platform enriching how over 30,000 companies forge and nurture customer relationships. In his role, he oversees the Growth and Analytics, Brand and Content, Experiences and Events, Product Marketing, and Pricing and Packaging teams.
Previously, he was the Advisor to the CEO at Switchboard Software where he led Go-to-Market strategy and execution. He was also the Chief Revenue Officer at MadKudu where he transitioned the company from a founder-driven sales approach to a more scalable model. During his time there, he helped double their annual recurring revenue (ARR), increased their net revenue retention (NRR) to over 130%, and grew the size of the go-to-market (GTM) team.
Alex was also the Head of DocSend Marketing and Chief Marketing Officer at DocSend where he led the seamless integration of DocSend into Dropbox. With extensive experience in the B2B technology and software sectors, Alex specializes in go-to-market strategies and operational scaling, consistently driving revenue growth and successful exits for innovative startups. His expertise spans strategic marketing, product development, and business leadership, significantly advancing data analytics and customer engagement.
Alex earned an MBA from INSEAD and an MS in Computer Science from the University of Rochester. He also earned both his BS and MS in Computer Engineering and Informatics from the University of Patras.
