Aki Georgacacos is the Co-founder and Managing Director of Rio Investment Partners, a Canadian merchant bank specializing in tech-enabled investments in sustainable and health-focused companies. He is also Chairman and CEO of Creation Foods, a provider of "better-for-you" baked snacks, and serves as a Director at PYURE Company, which promotes health and wellness.

With over 25 years of private equity and merchant banking experience, Aki has been a principal investor since 2002, driving strategic growth across a diverse portfolio. Notable investments include Farmlead (acquired by Bayer), Farmers Edge (acquired by Fairfax), SunSelect (acquired by Canopy Growth), and Ascenta Health (acquired by Nature's Way). Earlier, Aki was Vice President at Deloitte Corporate Finance, advising on M&A and value maximization strategies. He has also served as a director for companies such as Intelia Inc. and Morris Industries.

Aki holds a bachelor's degree in accounting and finance from the University of Saskatchewan.
