Panos Karagiannis is the Co-founder and CEO of Moveo.AI, a Scale Up Cohort 7 company redefining customer support through the integration of state-of-the-art AI and live human interaction. With a passion for computing from an early age, Panos began his journey in technology working on a sentiment analysis project using neural networks before even starting his undergraduate studies. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from UCLA, where his interest in AI and machine learning deepened.
Panos continued his education with a Master’s in Computer Science at UC Santa Cruz, which led him to a role at IBM, where he worked on the Watson Assistant Core Algorithms team, contributing to AI-driven innovations in natural language processing and machine learning. His work at IBM focused on building core algorithms that power conversational AI systems, giving him invaluable experience in the practical application of AI technologies.
In 2020, Panos co-founded Moveo.AI, with a mission to enhance customer experiences by combining AI-powered interfaces with human empathy. Under his leadership, Moveo.AI has experienced rapid growth, securing $2.6M in seed funding and establishing itself as a key player in AI-powered customer service solutions.
