Reshaping Cities to Influencing Fintech Growth 

Omar is the Founder and CEO of Zeal, a fintech app that uses Artificial Intelligence to provide merchants with data and tools to predict consumer behavior, driving customer retention and business growth. Zeal, a member of the Scale Up 7 Batch, started as a simple loyalty app and evolved into a scalable platform with Omar's Leadership. 

Omar’s entrepreneurial journey began with co-founding Omlex Ltd, a real estate company aimed to bring foreign investment into the UK. Mentored by leading UK entrepreneur Alex Hall, he gained hands-on experience in resilience and discipline while leading a project that transformed the city Hull’s economic growth, earning them recognition at the House of Parliament.

Omar’s passion for entrepreneurship was sparked during his Mechanical Engineering studies at the University of Surrey, where he attended life coaching seminars by renowned figures like Robert Kiyosaki, Tony Robbins, and Jordan Belfort. His academic path laid the groundwork for his business ventures, and later, Omar deepened his entrepreneurial expertise with a Master’s in Entrepreneurship and Management from the University of Bath. He has also studied at Harvard and Oxford, further shaping his approach to business. Prior to his ventures, Omar served as a board member for Espranza for Scientific Instruments and is an active member of the Institute of Directors, the UK's largest organization for business leaders.
