Their ClassNK-certified platform creates digital replicas, or "digital twins," of each vessel to monitor fuel consumption, fouling, and machinery performance under various weather conditions. In 2024, DeepSea partnered with Ardmore Shipping to advance AI-driven optimization across Ardmore’s tanker fleet. Through a year-long trial, DeepSea and Ardmore collaborated on refining advanced algorithms based on DeepSea’s AI vessel behavior models and Ardmore’s extensive historical data, tailored specifically for tramp trade operations. In 2021 Deepsea received €5 million in funding from both new and existing investors.
