ΚΟΝVΑ and Yodiwo join Endeavor

Two more Greek companies, KONVA and Yodiwo, join the global network of Endeavor, non-profit supporting high-impact entrepreneurship. The companies were selected during Endeavor Global 73rd International Selection Panel, held in Beirut (July 24-26). Business leaders like Diego Piacentini, SVP, International Consumer Business, Amazon.com and Fadi Ghandour, Founder & Vice Chairman Aramex and Executive Chairman, Wamda Capital were among the panelists that selected the companies to join our network.

KONVA, represented by its CEO Gianna Tzika, is one of the most modern and advanced seafood processing industries in the European Union with over 90 years of family business activity Its long history is marked by a series of investments in infrastructure and technological equipment. The first robotized line for sardine production, the mechanized production line for tuna salad, squid and octopus with a multihead weigher, as well as the great flexibility in packing the end products are but a few of the examples that demonstrate our commitment to progress and innovation. TRATA and FLOKOS products have been exported over the decades to more than 20 countries, while partnerships have been established for the development of privately labeled products.

Yodiwo, represented by its cο-founder and CEO Alex Maniatopoulos, is based in Patras and Sweden and has created a platform for bridging inhomogeneous IoT systems and networks to achieve direct and easy control of all the devices and innumerable new applications for industrial, corporate and commercial needs. Through this platform, engineers can deliver industrial projects in just a few weeks saving time and cost. The company has a prestigious network of partners globally, such as NXP, Nokia, Veolia and Free2Move.

At this ISP, the culmination of a rigorous entrepreneurs’ selection process locally and internationally, 18 business leaders and members of Endeavor network assessed and selected 16 entrepreneurs, representing 12 companies from 10 countries. Endeavor now supports 1.512 high-impact entrepreneurs from 944 companies in 30 countries, that are given strategic advice and other services according to their needs from Endeavor’s mentors and advisors, have access to its international network and investors. This process helps them further grow their business, create jobs and become role models. Endeavor Entrepreneurs have created more than 650,000 jobs and in 2016 they generated over $10 billion in revenues.

From Greece, Hellas Direct, Papadimitriou, HotelBrain, Insurance Market, ERGON, Brainbox, Think Digital Group, Green Cola, Travelplanet24/Tripsta, blueground, FREZYDERM, Avocarrot, Sychem, Workable, CHB and Forky are members of Endeavor network.
